  • Stead Says November 2016
    Posted On: Nov 29, 2016

November is here, and we all know what that means. No, it's not the countdown until we gorge on turkey and stuffing, but it's time to slow down, and to reflect on what we should give thanks for. This year we have a lot to be thankful for. This month’s “Stead Says” article is going to be a little shorter then normal, but I want to say thanks to all of you who gave a little of your time to help out others, from the officers who volunteered for the charity car wash, that helped the families of Officers German Alech and Diana Castillo, to the many officers that participated in and supported the Saint Michael’s event, just to name a few. To all of you that take time out of your busy schedule, we here at the PBA say thank you and we see you. Please do not forget the Black and Blue Fun Run, on November 12th, that is put on by Major Julie Miller and the Town of Cutler Bay Police Department. Come out and run in your uniform, or just come out show your support. All the proceeds raised from the event goes to the POAT, which supports the men and women of this county. Have a Happy Thanksgiving and thank you for all you do.

Stay safe and see you next month!!
